Heading For Adventure
DUSTER Loose-fitting, lower calf length with deep side slits. Bias neck facing. Deep inset sleeve with square
arrnscye that acts as part of the front and back yoke. Center back drawstring for better waist fit. Large patch
pockets and long roll-up sleeves.
PULLOVER Loose-fitting, upper-thigh length with side slits. Placket front opening and bias neck facing.
Drop shoulders and long sleeves.
NOTIONS 1/4" wide Steam-A-Seam, beeswax, buttonhole block
and 5/8" wide chisel, chalk wheel or water- or air-soluble ink pen, liquid seam sealant, matching cotton thread,
matching silk thread, point presser, point turner, Post-It note, raglan shoulder pads, ruler, tailor (sleeve) board,
toothpick, watersoluble stabilizer. Duster 8 buttons I" wide, contrasting cottor thread (optional).
Pullover 1" button, quilting bar.
FABRICS Linen, silk shantung, pique, tissue-weight wool, medium-weight rayon.
