Made entirely of jeans, this jacket is a real show stopper.
Unique placement of the jean ‘parts’ creates a whimsical garment with no shortage of pockets!
A zipper closure and cotton lining make it cozy and comfortable. Oversized.
Sizes Included:
Small - Medium - Large

Fabric Requirements- listed in yards.
- 4-Pairs of Adult Denim Jeans; if you're a smaller size, you may need an extra pair.
- Light to Medium weight fabrics: Cotton - Flannel - Rayon - Silk - Linen - Twill, Etc.
- Choose lightweight cottons (like quilters cottons) for a cozy jacket.
- Keep in mind the lining will show on the roll back cuff, so select a print that’s complimentary.
- If you are adding any embellishment to the yokes, coordinate your lining with it!
Notions
- Interfacing: 3/4 yard of medium weight for collar only
- Shoulder Pads: 3/4" (optional)
- 24” Separating Heavy Weight Jacket Zipper
- Topstitching Thread (optional) I like to use a bronze color thread (like most Levi’s are stitched with). I generally just use a regular weight sewing thread so I don’t have to keep switching from topstitching when sewing the seams. If you’re lucky enough to have more than one sewing machine, thread one with topstitching thread and one with regular!
- Heavy Duty Machine Needles - sizes 16 & 18 I recommend Schmetz needles if they fit your machine and are available. They have a stronger tensile strength (the shaft of the needle is less likely to break) and lasts much longer.
